On one side you've got Austin's The Capitalist Kids churning out the hits on par with previous releases. Here they give us a love song, a timely song about government surveillance, and a cover by a band many would consider the antithesis of punk that they've spun into gold and worked out a tune that will be stuck in your head long after the record stops spinning. On the other side we've got three new songs from Columbus, OH's Tight Bros. This was our first introduction to the band and we got very excited very fast upon hearing these songs. An easy description would be something along the lines of a slightly more pop-punk friendly take on The Marked Men. These are songs for summertime. We look forward to more from these guys.

1.
good morning baby let’s get some coffee discuss the problems that plague our society the world is such a frustrating clusterfuck but we got each other can you believe the luck? a private little party with two private DJ’s jumping up and down on the bed in our PJ’s I need you to hold me tight Tell me tell me everything is all right I need you to flash that smile I need you to hold my hand make believing that you understand I need you to make my existence worthwhile you’re my soul mate, teammate, roommate, wife only everything, life pigtails at Pinballz, then maybe later cocktails and Corvettes on the record player I keep writing dumb songs because you inspire me but I cannot express myself entirely got songs piling up by the bunch for the next batch surface of the subject hasn’t even been scratched my feelings are deep, meaningful, and complex ironically, this song is just the opposite
2.
they’ve got your phone calls, e-mails and all of your texts know every move you make from your GPS it’s just the price we pay, you see to live here in the Land of the Free it fills me with such pride they’ve got your bank statements and your book receipts their stalkerish devotion is almost kinda sweet strip away your civil liberties in the name of American Security somewhere an eagle cried What have you got to hide?

4.
Little bird, look at you now Spread your wings and then flew south While I just sit here and smoke this cigarette Chased after fireflies At a show in the summertime Well I just said this is not an exit I know I'm in your head Well now I'm in your bed I know I'm in your head Can't get you off my brain Something tells me that's okay A little voice that'll always say When I wake up that you You'll change your mind today Little bird, I'll watch you fly little bird
5.
Why did you go? Pack up and get moving Bad taste from this city I can't escape from here It's everything I love But this feeling deep inside of me Is fogging up my head I know it seems convincing But there's something I don't know There's something I don't know Why did you go? The markers you're using Lackluster, confusing I need an answer Please just tell me what to do Because this shithead on my shoulders Needs a better place to turn I know you seem convincing But there's something I don't know There's something I don't know Why did you go? Why did you go?
6.
Seems like most of the time I can't see straight My head and brain just separate I'm calling it quits, I don't know what to do I don't want the pills, I don't want to drink I'd kill to have a normal day I can't believe the shit I put you through (Meet me at my window) How do I stay up? When I'm this down? I guess my mind's made up and I'm not going out Pick me up and relocate me Haven't been myself much lately This black cloud hanging over me won't go away Just lingering, I know that you've grown tired of it, too So you've been waiting patiently While I'm off in another place I've gotta find the way back, ohhh
